Our marketing site now loads a compliant cookie consent banner before any analytics scripts initialize. Visitors from jurisdictions with consent requirements see a banner on first visit; their choices persist across sessions.

For us this closes a real legal exposure, and for visitors it means clear control over what gets tracked. The implementation is configurable by environment, so we can keep different banner IDs for development, staging, and production builds without changing code.

This is also the first place we're using a sibling product from our own stack to handle a compliance flow end-to-end, which has been a nice forcing function for getting the integration ergonomics right.
